Unless you've got a pretty powerfull computer (and I mean powerfull) I wouldnt bother using vista, im running 4gig of RAM, an 8800GTX 728mb and quadcore and it runs nicely

MY PC will have no problems running vista what so ever
but I dont wanna go spend £120 quid on a real copy of vista if I dont have to
so my questions is are "copied" versions of vista stable as I have heard they have some kinda timestamp that needs to be cracked ? but I havent really looked into it recently

Don't use a cracked version, get a software builder copy for like... £50 (ebuyer is your friend)

Steve, depending on the spec of your PC, Vista can downgrade FPS in games considerably. Just google it for benchmarks

Vista pwns, just make sure you have a decent amount of RAM and you should be fine. Get a software builder copy to save money, as long as you dont plan on upgrading your motherboard anytime soon because you wont be able to reinstall it.

OEM, its just without all the packaging and can only be installed on the computer you first install it in (or the motherboard)
