The following is a basic list of rules. We'll modify and add as we need:
1. Members must follow the realm and general WoW rules.
This is the EULA and other agreements Blizzard asks you to agree to.
2. Members must be as polite as possible at all times in the guild and outside it.
Harassment such as excessive swearing, racism, homophobia and other abuse will not be tolerated. This applies not just in guild communication channels, but in the game as a whole.
That being said, just because a someone disagrees with you does not mean they are harassing you. A well spoken but contraversial genuine view point will not break this rule.
3. After we start, if you are inactive for longer than 10 days without notifying someone you will be removed.
You'll be welcome to rejoin if you become active again, and are willing to make the effort to stay active. If you are getting bored with the guild don't just slip into inactivity. Tell an officers and we'll see if we can't help get you interested again.
4. Check the forums regularly to keep up with sign ups for events, groups and the social life of the guild.
5. Always check if anyone in the guild needs any rare BoEs or patterns you find.
You may still charge a fair price for the item if you wish and no one will judge, but it's more productive to keep rares in the guild for the benefit of everyone. This is especially true of patterns and plans, after all if you sell someone in the guild a recipe we'll all find it easier to get that item.
